Introduction to Mbofho Consulting and Project Managers (MCPM)

MCPM was established in Polokwane in 2007 by Takalani Silidi. The consultancy now comprises a team of dedicated and professionals with a range of specialisms, experience and backgrounds in Environment, Heritage, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety and Social Facilitation and biological research, working for Government departments, Eskom, Transnet Capital Projects, DBSA, Municipalities, RAL, Mining etc. The MCPM team has over 20 years of collective experience with an in-depth and practical knowledge of environmental management services (incl EIA, EMP, ECO), Heritage Impact Assessment, Archaeological excavations, Occupational Health and Safety, Social Facilitation and Civil Engineering, legislations, policies and its application in the development planning process. MCPM consultants are frequently asked to apply this knowledge and experience to advise our public and private sector clients and to liaise on their behalf with statutory bodies/ agencies, other organisations and planning authorities on a wide range of projects.
For all our projects MCPM’s key objectives are:
- To respond to our clients’ requirements with accurate, impartial advice and reporting informed by an up-to-date understanding of environmental management, Heritage Resources, Civil Engineering and Occupational Health and Safety statutory requirements, legislations, policies and standards
- To provide pragmatic and cost-effective services, delivered within budget and on-time; and
- To provide added-value by keeping closely informed of upcoming changes to natural heritage legislation and policy, providing current best-practice approaches to survey, assessment and mitigation.
